CHARITY DONATIONS

THAT GAY LABEL prides itself on being an independent small run business, which aims to make a difference through a 'charity of the month' program.

Each clothing item holds a different meaning/message behind it, which will either be released to support the charity of the months cause or as it's designed and listed online - until sold out. 

Every month a new charitable cause will be chosen by the owners and a donation will be made from each sale within that month to the chosen charity. $2 from each tee and $5 from each hoodie or sweater will be donated. This charity will be listed online and across social media, so that you'll know where your donation will be going. These funds will be added up and donated at the end of each calendar month.

Tipping option is available at check-out to add on an extra donation to send to our listed charity of the month. Simply select the percentage or enter a custom amount to be added to your order total and we'll take care of the rest! 

 

LIMITED EDITIONS

Some lines of clothing will be re-stocked and others will be strictly 'limited edition'. If a clothing item is marked as a 'limited edition' piece, make sure to get in while stocks last - once sold out these pieces will never be available for purchase again.

Some designs will be hand painted or printed and sold as 'one-off limited edition'. These will either be available as one piece, or one in each size.

 

PRODUCT & PRINTING INFO.

Each product is sourced and hand chosen by the owners. Each design is sketched by the owner. 

All tees, sweaters and hoodies are purchased from the ASCOLOUR (but not limited to) blank clothing company and designs are applied to these using different forms of printing. These methods include (but are not limited to): screen printing, heat press, direct-to-garment, embroidery or hand painted. The method of printing, style and size of clothing will all be shown on each product listing page.

All accessories are sourced from a variety of companies or printed ourselves.

We only source from suppliers with very high ethical and sustainable standards. 

 

SUSTAINABILITY

To be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible - we are trying to limit the number of wastage when it comes to new designs. From 2021 onwards TGL has moved forward with a new printing method! All new designs are now printed using a direct-to-garment method and are printed right here in our Melbourne warehouse. These designs are printed as they're ordered, so may take a little longer to receive as printing can take 2-5 business days before it's shipped off to you - BUT in return you're helping us with zero wastage as we're only printing what's needed and wanted. 

 

PRINT ON DEMAND & STOCK ON HAND

Some items listed online are already printed and in stock.

Some items are printed as they're ordered 'print-on-demand'. Please allow 2-5 business days for the item to be printed before it's posted. Up to 10 business days during busy periods (Christmas etc.)

Items that are in stock will be shipped out within 1-2 business days and items that are print-on-demand will take a few days longer for printing.

Each item listing will state if it's in stock or printed as it's ordered 'print-on-demand' or 'stock-on-hand' if it's ready to go now. 

 

SIZING INFO.

All clothing is sourced from the ASCOLOUR (but not limited to) clothing company, unless otherwise stated on their product listing page. All items are mens/unisex. Sizing info can be found on each individual listing.

 

POSTAGE PRICES & SHIPPING TIMES

Handling: All items listed online are printed and in stock (unless stated that it's a pre-order or print-on-demand product). Please allow 1-2 business days for handling and your product to be shipped - this'll be done as quickly as possible, as we know you'll be eager to receive your delivery. If it's a print-on-demand product please allow 2-5 business days (10 during peak seasons) for your product to be printed and shipped out. If it's a pre-order, you'll be notified when your item will be printed and shipped out.

Australia: STOCK-ON-HAND: Regular postage within Australia takes 3-5 business days - depending on your location. All items are shipped from Melbourne. Prices range from $9.20 upwards, depending on how many items you purchase and the size/weight of those items. PRINT-ON-DEMAND: These products are sent via Sendle. Regular postage takes 8-15 business days, due to the product being printed as it's ordered - resulting in a longer handling time. Express postage take 6-15 business days. Prices are $8 regular postage and $10 express upwards.

Worldwide: STOCK-ON-HAND: Regular postage outside of Australia takes 5-9+ business days - depending on your location, all items are shipped from Melbourne. Prices range from $18.20 upwards, depending on how many items you purchase and the size/weight of those items. Choose your items and head to the checkout to calculate your postage costs. Worldwide shipping is offered - if you'd like more information on postage times please contact and supply us with your exact address. PRINT-ON-DEMAND: These products are sent via Sendle. Regular postage takes 2-4 weeks, due to the product being printed as it's ordered - resulting in a longer handling time. This is currently only offered to the UK, USA and NZ. Prices are $20 upwards. 

*Prices and shipping times can change at any time. We post via Australia Post and Sendle and once either of their pricing changes, so will the pricing on this site. We reserve the right to update our shipping pricing and times at any time. 

*If purchasing multiple items please note that stock-on-hand and print-on-demand will ship from different Melbourne locations. Resulting in multiple packages, different shipping times and prices. 

All items are posted through Australia Post or Sendle and a tracking number is provided, so that you're kept up to date with where your package is. The tracking number will be provided once your product is shipped.

Please note: Due to the current pandemic, postage times may be longer than usual. Shipping will only be available Monday-Friday. If you purchase an item over the weekend or on a public holiday, it'll be posted on the next business day. Please double check that your country is accepting postage from Australia before purchasing. 

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

Sizing: Please refer to sizing information before purchasing your item (all pieces are mens/unisex sizing). If your item arrives and doesn't fit, refer to the exchange policy.

Refunds: Unfortunately refunds are not available for change of mind or if you ordered the wrong size. Please be sure when choosing your item and refer to the sizing chart. If your item is faulty a refund or exchange will be offered, please contact for details on how to go through with this, with you receipt and photo evidence of the fault. Each item is carefully printed and assessed before it's posted out and there should be no faults in it. A fault will only be refunded if it's when the product has been delivered - if you do any damage to the product once you've accepted the package, there'll be no refund available. Print-on-demand faulty items: If your item has been supplied with damage or any faults, please supply us with a photo and receipt and we can arrange for a new product to be printed and shipped out to you.

Exchanges: Unfortunately exchanges aren't offered for change of mind, please be sure when purchasing your item. Exchanges are available for wrong size, but only if your correct size is in stock & only for stock-on-hand listed products (print-on-demand products will not have an exchange offered for wrong size) - if not in stock then there'll be no offer of an exchange (this Is due to some lines being limited edition and not re-stocked). You'll need to contact on details where to send your item, with your receipt. The item will need to be returned in it's original/unworn condition (if it isn't then no exchange will be offered) and postage fees to send the item back are completely up to the purchaser. If the product purchased is a print-on-demand item, then no exchange will be offered for change of mind or wrong size - please check size chart and be sure before purchasing.

 

PAYMENT METHOD

The payment systems used in this online store are provided by third parties:

Stripe/Shopify: This is a third party method that allows you to purchase any products in a secure way, using your debit or credit card. The amount is taken out of your account once you process your payment and paid directly to the company.

Paypal: A simple and secure method for all online shopping purchases. You can pay by simply choosing Paypal at checkout, logging in to your Paypal account and confirming your payment. They complete the process for you. 

 

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR GARMENT

Screen Printed: Turn your garment inside out and wash on a cold cycle. The cold water helps prevent fading of colours. Tumble dry on low temperature or hang to dry. Do not iron over the top of the print. Do not dry clean.

Vinyl Heat Pressed: Turn your garment inside out and wash on a cold cycle. Hang or lay flat to dry. Do not iron over the top of the vinyl. Do not dry clean.

Direct To Garment Printed: Turn your garment inside out and wash on a gentle cycle, with other clothes of similar colours. Tumble dry on low temperature or hang to dry. Turn the garment inside out to iron. Do not dry clean.

Embroidered & Patches: Wash your garment inside out on a cold setting. Do not wring out. Embroidered can be dry cleaned, but extreme care should be taken. Patches cannot be dry cleaned, lay flat or hang to dry. Patches on beanies: do not wet or expose to moisture - If so, can you re-applied with heat press or an iron.

Hand Painted: Turn your garment inside out and wash on a cold cycle. Do not iron over the painted design and do not tymble dry, hang or lay flat to dry. Do not dry clean.

* For all of the above, avoid using any fabric softener or harsh detergents. Do not pick at or try to remove any of the designs. Treat as a delicate piece of clothing.
